After looking at this blog title, I have realized that giving away 5 things instead of 6 is pretty off-brand for me. The truth is that I was so excited about this giveaway that I wasn’t really thinking about the numbers, and I will have to remember that in the future.
Instead of focusing on that, why don’t we talk about the products I’m giving away? I’m so excited to take advantage of the opportunity to share some things that I am going to share with one lucky winner.
1. The I Love Trader Joe’s Cookbook by Cherie Mercer Twohy
The whole reason that this giveaway is in part because someone read my blog and thought that I was doing well enough that I could promote this cookbook. And here is one of the ways that I am doing it, with this giveaway and talking about it. I’m so grateful for the opportunity that I’m sharing this wonderful cookbook, and I’ve had fun trying things out in my own kitchen, such as the Frat Brats and the Spicy Apricot-Glazed Pork.
2. $25 USD Trader Joe’s Gift Card
How could I giveaway a Trader Joe’s themed cookbook without the ability to purchase the Trader-Joe’s specific ingredients? We decided to include a small gift card to the place that inspired the book, and ultimately inspired this post. Honestly, flipping through the cookbook, I am anticipating my own run to Trader Joe’s. I’m curious about the Bool Kogi and the Mushroom & Company Multipurpose Umami Seasoning Blend.
3. Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia was a book that I read for book club while I was in graduate school, so I included a copy to share. It is a book that I read that was out of the normal scope of what I was reading at the time. I appreciate it for how unexpected it was, and I would be excited to talk to the winner about their thoughts about the book.
4. Virtual Skin Consultation with Journey Inspyred
So when I got the opportunity to do a giveaway, I reached out to my friend Rebecca, who is an esthetician and starting her own business. She is now in charge of doing my facials, and we are collaborating on this little giveaway. If you win, you will have the opportunity to book 15 minutes of her time to discuss any skin concerns you may have. And let me tell you, she does a great job, because while I normally dread extractions, they were almost painless when she did them for me.
5. $150 USD Credit to Shop Dermaceutix
And of course, the perfect pairing to go with that skin care consultation is the ability to get more skincare products. Dermaceutix is the skin care brand that Rebecca also carries at her office, so it is possible she will recommend you products based on your needs anyway. If you ask me what my favorite products are, I would recommend the Skin Tint SPF 20+ or the Hydrating Vitamin Mist. This is especially applicable for a summer giveaway, after all.
